PRICING
PUPPIES ARE BABIES AND NO MATTER HOW WELL-RAISED SHOULD BE EXPECTED TO CRY, BARK, AND HAVE ACCIDENTS, OFTEN AT VERY INCONVENIENT TIMES AND PLACES.
IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED FOR THIS, PLEASE DO NOT GET A PUPPY FROM ANYBODY.

Our puppies are only available with Puppy Head Start Training
Our decades of breeding and training experience have shown us that puppies are much more successful in their new families if they have basic manners and obedience training, therefore all of our puppies have at least Puppy Head Start training—we do not raise or sell untrained puppies and our price reflects that.
We are not the breeder for you if you want a low-cost puppy as 99% of the time, those lower costs mean that your puppy wasn't raised with active enrichment and foundation training and wasn't, in our opinion, prepared as well as possible for your home.
Raising a puppy properly is expensive and time consuming and more often than not you get what you pay for.
Click here to see a video of the training our puppies typically have when they go home at 9 weeks old.
Additional training may be available at an additional fee and may include advanced puppy training or specialty training for puppies going to homes with special needs.
Advanced puppy training includes proofing and fine tuning of foundational puppy training, down, place training, advanced manners, and additional experience working under distractions and socialization.
Additional training is subject to availability.
Special needs training is done on a case-by-case basis. Examples can be special preparatory protocols for puppies that may be candidates for autism spectrum companion service, hearing dog service, assistance service, and more.
While we do our best to prepare puppies for service work and while preparation while young increases the likelihood of success for a service dog, nobody can guarantee that ANY puppy will be a successful service dog for any reason until the dog has fully matured and training is complete.

Training limitations
Please note that despite the amount of work we do with our puppies, they are still BABIES and need consistency and reinforcement at home to maintain their training.
Not all families have the experience to maintain training, and it should be expected for some families to need to consult an outside professional to help the families learn to work with their puppies.
Our training teaches to the puppies to obey us. If a family is not experienced in dog handling, no training we provide will be able to train the dog to obey an inexperienced handler.
ALL healthy Goldendoodle puppies are MODERATE ENERGY. They tend to mellow at around 2 years old. The more training and impulse-control work you do with your puppy, the easier your puppy will be to manage and the less challenging their energy level will be.
Puppies are babies and regardless of training SHOULD be expected to cry, bark, and have accidents in their crates and in your house.
If you are not expecting this and prepared for this, please do not get a puppy from anyone, even one that has had training.
Cost and payment
Our pricing includes puppy foundational training (sit, walk on leash, beginning manners, crate training, etc.), socialization, health guarantee, Puppy Culture and Avidog program training, our own Puppy Head Start training program, and more.
*(NOTE: Many breeders say they use Puppy Culture but really don't follow or even do the program at all. To ensure your breeder is actually raising Puppy Culture puppies, always request videos of the puppies and or/process as proof. Our videos can be found here.)
Payment
Payment by checks and cash are accepted and are expected prior to picking your puppy.
As a small family breeder, we are unable to provide financing. However, we do offer a credit card option, which is available for the 3% fee charged for the service by the bank.
A non-refundable deposit of $500 (applicable to price) is required to reserve a puppy.
Board-and-train charges will apply to puppies not picked up by their go-home date.
Pricing for 2024 is $4900 for Mini puppies (est 26-35 lbs as adults) litters and $5,500 for Petite puppies (est 15-25 lbs as adults). Petite/Mini breedings are more costly and produce fewer puppies (they are about half the size of Medium and Standard litters), so they are priced accordingly. We no longer breed medium or standard size (over 40 lbs). Our puppies also go home with training and that is included in the cost.
We accept all forms of payment including cash, checks, and credit cards. To offset the rising cost of business and operational expenses, all purchases paid will be subject to an Admin Fee of 3.00%.
Tax
Any payment made to us is subject to tax. We are located in the state of New Mexico. New Mexico doesn't have a sales tax, but it has a gross receipts tax. All businesses in New Mexico are required to collect tax on all of our gross receipts at a rate of 7% so you will see this on your invoice even if you live outside New Mexico.
While we make our best efforts to estimate size at adulthood, sizes are estimates and neither size nor color are guaranteed.
All puppies go home with the following:
-
Completion of our Puppy Head Start and enrichment program
-
Sleeping through the night in their crate while with us.
-
Basic puppy training started (clicker/positive reinforcement training)—Puppies go home knowing how to sit and walk on a leash. They will have started learning manners, such as to sit to come out of their playpen, not to jump on people for attention, and to sit quietly in front of you when they want attention or treats, and have started crate training. Click here for a sample video of what a typical puppy knows when it goes home.
