RESERVATION

PROCESS

PUPPIES ARE BABIES AND NO MATTER HOW WELL-RAISED SHOULD BE EXPECTED TO CRY, BARK, AND HAVE ACCIDENTS, OFTEN AT VERY INCONVENIENT TIMES AND PLACES.

IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED FOR THIS, PLEASE DO NOT GET A PUPPY FROM ANYBODY.

How do I reserve my puppy?

Making a reservation

A $500 reservation fee reserves your puppy. The fee will be applied to the price of your puppy. The reservation fee is not refundable, but may be applied to a future puppy. Please be certain to have the balance of your puppy purchase to us prior to selection, or you may lose your selection slot for the current litter.

To make a reservation, please complete this questionnaire and we will call you to discuss your application. If we are unable to reach you within three days, we discard your application.

Once we talk and agree that we want to work together to get you a puppy, we will send you an invoice for the reservation fee.

Reservations are accepted by credit card or check. You will also receive a Puppy Agreement and Warranty to sign.

Your reservation is not final until we receive both your Application and Reservation Fee and your signed Puppy Agreement and Warranty.

Application and reservation fees and purchase price are subject to sales tax for New Mexico sales. Reservation slots are not given until your fee has been paid. Reservations that are unpaid after 48 hours of invoicing are discarded.

Getting on the reservation list
Selecting my puppy

What happens next?

Once on the reservation list, we will contact you once puppies are born. You will have the choice to select from that litter, or remain on the reservation list for a later litter. It is not unusual for people to reserve a spot long before they are ready for a puppy so they may have a priority spot on the reservation list. Many people reserve as much as a year in advance.

Puppy selection happens when the puppies are about 6-7 weeks old. Payment in full is required prior to selecting a puppy.

Litter updates

Litter updates may be found in our private Facebook group for our puppy families. We typically provide puppy portraits several times during the growth of your puppy.

We do our best to provide as many pictures and videos as possible (usually several a week) through our Facebook page, but please note that because our priority is the proper raising and husbandry of your puppy, we usually aren't able to respond to requests for additional photos or videos of individual puppies.

Visiting

Please click here for our Visitation Policy.

Please note that there are no visits during COVID restrictions. All selections are virtual and pickup is touches curbside.

Going home

Puppies typically go home at about 8-9 weeks of age.

Puppies may be picked up from our home in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area. We also deliver Santa Fe and Albuquerque airports for those who live at a distance. Airlines usually charge between $90 and $125 to bring your puppy with you in the airplane cabin, and many people use frequent flyer miles to help keep costs affordable.

We can also refer you to a puppy flight nanny if you'd like to pick your puppy up at your local airport.

For more information on flying with your puppy, please contact your individual airline for more information.

Please also contact us PRIOR to making airline reservations so we can ensure we will have the availability to meet your flight.
